Featuring a an appearance from 2Pac himself on a sample from the intro to his classic track “Picture Me Rollin,” “Pac Tribute” shows Marcus Manchild and Luu Breeze capturing the love of the game spirit of hip-hop that 2Pac embodied.
A lot has changed since the days of gangsta rap, when 2Pac and Notorious BIG ruled hip hop. Marcus Manchild has embraced the type of street level songs that those early rap pioneers made their name on. The skateboard swag rhymespitter grew up on the Southwest side of Houston, raised on local celebrities like Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, ZRO and Lil KeKe. By 16, Marcus began making his own music, influenced by Houston greats, but geared to make his own mark with a new style.
Now signed to local Houstin, TX label Authentik Music Group, Manchild is ready to take things to the next level with his recently released mixtape Preseason 2, featuring lead track “A Million” with Travis Porter and Big K.R.I.T., along with “Big Boi Shit” featuring former Boss Hogg Outlawz member Killa Kyleon.
