Ain’t No Lies in Blood is the Cranks first album since 1997 and their 8th in their 25 year history. Lead single “Rubber Rat” shows that Peter Aaron and the boys have lost none of their grit – the track is one of their hardest, heaviest and nastiest to date.
Longtime fans will be please to hear the dark, distorted blues sound that was the Chrome Crank’s calling card in the 90’s. With a tough, stripped down production that places guitarist William Weber’s heavy riffs front and center, “Rubber Rat” is a savage, primal track.
