Music's Biggest Night took place at STAPLES Center in LA yesterday evening, and surprisingly enough, predicted winner Taylor Swift didn't clean up after all. In fact, the artists who took home the most awards were quite a surprise. Best New Artist went to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who have definitely gone from "Thrift Shop" to the top of the charts in the past year and a half. Daft Punk got lucky when they took home Best Pop Duo / Group Performance, and Paul McCartney scored the Best Rock Song award for his song with Dave Grohl, "Cut Me Some Slack". Lorde's "Royals" won for Best Pop Solo Performance, as well as Song Of The Year, which was a great feat for the 17-year-old singer. Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's "Holy Grail" was awarded Best Rap / Sung Collaboration, while Bruno Mars' Orthodox Jukebox got the Best Pop Vocal Album trophy. Newcomer Kacey Musgraves was shocked when she received the award for Best Country Album for Same Trailer, Different Park, which was definitely worthy of the title. Cleaning up even more was Daft Punk, scoring Record Of The Year for "Get Lucky" and Album Of The Year for Random Access Memories. For the full list of winners, head over to CBS's GRAMMY winners list.
