Billed as a “two-day celebration of music and optimism,” the Life is Good Festival marries an impressive line-up of rock and alt-country acts with goodwill hospitality and fundraising. Taking place in Canton, MA, during the weekend of September 24th, the Life is Good Festival will feature three stages, interactive arts activities, and games and activities for families of all ages. 100% of the festival’s profits will go towards the Life Is Good Playmakers, and organization that helps kids overcome life-threatening challenges such as violence, illness, and extreme poverty.
The goal of this festival is to create a “community of fundraisers,” encouraging all festival-goers (and beyond) to raise money for the Life is Good organisation. Those who raise more than $500 will be rewarded with exclusive backstage access, preferred concert viewing, artist meet-and-greet’s and more prizes. This is only the kind of festival where the better experience doesn’t come with a fatter wallet – but with an enthusiasm for charity. There are different reward tiers based on the money raised, and attendants can also raise money for prizes during the festival – information on both can be found here.
The artist lineup features The Avett Brothers and Ray LaMontagne headlining, as well as Ingrid Michaelson, Raphael Saadiq, Martin Sexton, Brandi Carlile and many more. We’ll be giving away free mp3’s from a few of artists all week long – head to our Free Mp3 page to keep an eye on the artists!
