I Guess I’m Floating & Tell All Your Friends are presenting Floating Fest 2011 at Pianos Bar, which is fast becoming a staple of the Lower East Side nightlife and the CMJ festival. The venue offers two performance spaces and a solid, no frills bar and the Floating Fest is bringing some of the best up and coming bands around.  What else could you ask for?

KEXP has put together a pretty unstoppable lineup for their daytime shows at the Ace Hotel.  If you don’t have to work this could be a great opportunity to see these artists up close and personal.  Many of them will be playing other shows but at the KEXP concerts you won’t have to battle hordes of people in a tiny bar to see them.
Best of all, the performances are free, but it’s first come first serve so show up early!
