Canadian reggae fusion band MAGIC! have been making waves ever since the release of their breezy single "Rude" back in the fall of last year. It's proven to be a slow-burner, however, because the group's finally made its way onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and in the top 10 to boot. Currently sitting at number two, just behind Iggy Azalea's monster hit "Fancy", the little-known band is becoming a household name. The song apparently started out as a track about a tumultuous relationship, but the band changed the lyrics to be about asking a reluctant father to marry the girl of their dreams. It's only the second reggae-tinged song to ever sit in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, second to Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls". MAGIC!'s debut LP, Don't Kill The Magic, has just hit the shelves. We have a feeling it'll end up on the Billboard 200 sometime soon.
