“Royals” seems to be so popular with listeners because of its strong anti-material lyrics. It’s a song for the underdog in everyone, and if her debut LP continues this theme throughout, it’s set up be one of the biggest pop albums of the year.

Pure Heroine, Lorde’s debut album, is set for a September 27th release. The album includes the songs “Tennis Court” and “Buzzcut Season,” among others. Look for a few more sure-fire hits to be found on the album.
