Rapper Lil Wayne has been delaying the release of his upcoming LP, Tha Carter V, for what feels like years now. Finally, after he stopped by ESPN’s First Take live show on August 14th, the “Lollipop” MC announced to the world when his masterpiece will be released — as well as the album artwork.

Coming to shelves on October 28th, Tha Carter V has Wayne sticking to his theme of putting baby pictures of himself on the covers of his LPs, this time with the rapper as a toddler on the front. It features his mother as well, who Wayne shouted out on the show. It’s perfect, because I always go with a baby picture and I wanted to go with one with my momma,” stated Mr. Carter.

Lil Wayne is currently on tour with Drake throughout the US, seeing as both rappers are on the same label, and are both promoting new albums to be released this fall.
