Lady Gaga has released the official album artwork for her upcoming album, ARTPOP, dropping November 11th. Designed by legendary sculptor Jeff Koons, the record cover is a collision piece of pieces of art like The Birth Of Venus, plus one of Koons’ notorious glass spheres. Right in the center is a scuplture of Gaga herself, by Koons, with her signature long hair with straight-across bangs, and of course, no clothing.

The pop superstar unveiled the cover through a global Internet stream over a course of a half hour, which showcases her dedication to the “art” half of her forthcoming record. After name-dropping Koons in ARTPOP‘s first single, “Applause”, it would seem that Gaga is mining the art world for lyrical content, so fans (well, Little Monsters) are looking forward to the next artistic single from Mother Monster.

It’s a possibility that LG’s next single is “Aura“, after the song was featured in the upcoming film Gaga stars in, Machete Kills. But the performer has not said a word about her next single just yet.
