The Regal/Parlophone Records (Gorillaz, Bat for Lashes, LCD Soundsystem) label seems to have a lock on groups like The Good Natured fronted by Sarah McIntosh who pull off a heartfelt pop via pulsing dance rhythms (think Robynmeets La Roux) and slinky vocals. Building intimacy out of such a palette is a significant feature and it doesn’t hurt that every note gives off effortless cool.
“In every society, we find people who are bored with their daily routines, getting up, going to work, and coming home again. “Wolves” is about escapism, leaving the mundane normality of everyday life and entering a new world, whether it be a fantasy or a reality, ” says McIntosh.
And, that’s exactly what music is for, right? To let yourself go, and allow everything else to fall behind. So, what are you waiting for, add some “Wolves” to your daily rotation. Plus check out music videos for “Be My Animal” and “Your Body Is A Machine” below.
