The Drowning Men were initially planning on recording an EP to follow up their debut album The Beheading of the Songbird, but as the started recording the songs, they realized the were closer to having an album than an EP. Around that time, they headed out with Flogging Molly, who were so blown away with their sound, that they signed them to their label, and sent them back into the studio to finish the album.

Now, Borstal Beat Records has brought the world, All the Unknown— a fairly fitting title considering how the album came about. You can download the lead single, “Lost in a Lullaby” for free below:
