Alice Glass and Ethan Kath are Crystal Castles. They have a considerable fan base following their every move. NME named their debut one of the Top 50 Greatest Albums of the Decade. The tracks were produced by Ethan Kath at various locations, including a church in Iceland, a self-built cabin in northern Ontario, an abandoned convenience store garage in Detroit, and two songs recorded in the London studio of Paul “Phones” Epworth. Back in December the band released a cover of Platinum Blonde’sNot in Love” featuring Robert Smith of The Cure on vocals. It’s available on the Crystal Castles II album re-release as a bonus track. We just got our hands on Robert’s remix of the same song and it’s worth a listen.
