One of the biggest electronics shows in the world, it features new products from just about every company that deals in electronic and digital technology. Ultrabooks

Combining the performance power of a laptop and the portability of a tablet, the MacBook Air upped the ante in the mobile computing. Sales numbers have been impressive and now competitors are scrambling to follow suit.  Each of the major PC brands are expected to roll out their own ultrabooks.

Windows 8

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is always an exciting speaker and his keynote address is sure to be one of the most attended events at CES. With Microsoft’s market share shrinking, everyone is curious to see what the company has up their sleeve for their new operating system.

3D Television

Despite getting abuzz through several high profile 3D movies, 3D television has yet to really take off.  A lot of this can probably be attributed to the fact that you have to wear those silly glasses. That all might change though, as companies like MasterImage 3D are rolling out glasses free 3D screens

Ice Cream Sandwich Tablets

Android’s new operating system Ice Cream Sandwich is supposed to be a major breakthrough and will have a major impact on smartphones. It’s full capability, however, will be unleashed on the tablets that use it. We have yet to see a true competitor to the iPad, perhaps this new operating system will change that.
