Poezja śpiewana - 'the sung poetry' is a characteristic Polish type of music, often compared to folk singers such as Bob Dylan. The majority of the bands in this genre play very smooth and soft acoustic music. Lyrics are often poems either written by Polish poets or translated into Polish, but still this is not a rule and composers' own words are nothing unusual.
