Latin
This tag mostly refers to music from Latin America, usually sung in Spanish or Portuguese (but sometimes English due to cross-pollination). The phrase "Latin" comes from the fact that both languages are Romance languages, descended from Latin. Popular styles of Latin music include salsa, tejano, tango, samba, norteño, merengue, and reggaeton. The Latin tag may also apply to music performed in the Latin language itself.
