Jungle
Jungle Music is a style of electronic dance music that grew from hardcore breakbeat and its precursor acid house in the UK around 1992 with heavy influences from ragga, reggae and hip-hop. Running at around 160 to 170bpm, its dominant feature is a heavy bass and complex, chopped up and recycled breakbeats. The term is generally used interchangeably with drum and bass, although this second term appeared later.
