Cardio-wave
"Cardiowave" or "cardio-wave" is a term used to describe independent music scene of Odessa, Ukraine, associated with the music label of the same name. The term was first introduced to describe the work of Ukrainian dream pop/folk band Flёur. It was formed by analogy with such terms as new wave, dark wave and ethereal wave and was supposed to mean "sincere music, coming from one's heart". A music label of the same name was started in 2005.
