The Fader is reporting on a hot new item that’s huge new for Rihanna fans: according to a leaked Def Jam press release, RiRi’s next album might be dropping as soon as November of this year. With an intriguing album title, Lost Files, this would be the eighth album from the pop star in nine years. That is, if the rumors are true.
Taking to their website on October 16th, boy band sensation One Direction posted the deluxe track list to their upcoming LP Four. Hitting shelves on November 17th, fans can expect a whopping sixteen tracks on the album, which is their fourth (obviously) in four years. Not bad, One Direction!
Pop songwriter extraordinaire Sia has written some of music’s biggest hits over the years (Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” and Rihanna’s “Diamonds“, anyone?), but the Swedish talent is gearing up to release her own music, written for herself, in the album 1000 Forms Of Fear. Due out July 8th, it’s been said that the album tackles a lot darker material than she could ever write for a bubbly pop star, which is apparent in the record’s track list.
Available January 21st, the 2014 GRAMMY Nominees album features 18 songs from the hottest artists nominated at Music’s Biggest Night. Ranging from hip-hop acts like Kendrick Lamar, to up-and-c0mer James Blake, to country superstar Tim McGraw, it’s a compilation that covers multiple genres from start to finish.
