Nicki Minaj dropped two major bits of news on October 29th: a new track featuring YMCMB label-mates Lil Wayne and Drake, as well as the new release date for her upcoming LP The Pinkprint. “Only” debuted on iHeartRadio’s site for Minaj’s fans to hear, and with Wayne & Drake being mentioned in the song’s lyrics (as well as rapping on it), it’s making headlines all over the Web.
Taylor Swift is ready to follow up her single “Shake It Off” from her upcoming LP 1989 with a new track, according to her Instagram. She posted an artistic shot of a nature path, captioned 5 days #1989, and with the key word “Woods” in the shot, fans have clued in that she’s probably talking about the song she revealed in her recent Rolling Stone interview, “Out Of The Woods.”
Due out November 17th, One Direction‘s literally-titled fourth record Four will be dropping on shelves across the world. The 1D boys have already released the hot new track, “Fireproof,” and it’s already been downloaded approximately 1.1 million times by their Directioners. However, the official first single off the album isn’t “Fireproof” — it’s the hilariously-titled “Steal My Girl.”

Titled 1989, after her birth year, the album will be out on October 27th, and the first single has been dubbed “Shake It Off.”
After a seven year hiatus in the music world, actress/singer Hilary Duff is making a comeback with her bright, summery single “Chasing The Sun”. Duff has mostly been known for her family life these days, so when she announced she was hitting the music studio again, fans went wild. “I’m chasing the sun / Don’t miss out on the fun / Gotta get it while our hearts are young,” sings the bubblegum songstress.
Nicki Minaj made headlines around the world last week when the rapper uploaded a picture of the single cover on Instagram to her unreleased song “Anaconda.” Why was the cover such a viral hit? She bares her “assets” for all, and fans quickly spread the iconic photograph all over the Web. The audio for “Anaconda was supposed to be released on Tuesday, July 28th, but Nicki’s had to push back the release date to August 4th.

Famous rock duo The Black Keys decided to send out their new single “Fever” today, taken from their upcoming eighth studio album Turn Blue. Their last LP, El Camino, spawned hits like “Lonely Boy” and “Gold On The Ceiling”, and then the pair remained tight-lipped about their follow-up to the hit record. Their official website confirmed that Turn Blue is due May 13th along with the “Fever” audio clip.
