The Lollapalooza 2012 lineup has just been announced! Taking place during August 3rd-5th in Chicago’s beautiful Grant Park, the music festival will showcase some of the biggest names in alternative and indie rock.

Lollapalooza organizers have just made a limited number of “early bird” three day passes available online now, as well as several other ticket packages. The internet has been rife with speculation over this year’s lineup, and some of the rumors have been amazing. One alleged “leak” claimed that the headliners would include Beck, Metallica, Beyonce, the Killers, Sonic Youth, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
