Taking to their website on October 16th, boy band sensation One Direction posted the deluxe track list to their upcoming LP Four. Hitting shelves on November 17th, fans can expect a whopping sixteen tracks on the album, which is their fourth (obviously) in four years. Not bad, One Direction!
Every once in a while, an artist makes it big on the pop charts with nothing but a guitar strapped to their back. We've seen it with acts like Ed Sheeran and A Great Big World, and now it's Irish singer/songwriter Hozier's time to shine. Making waves last year with the release of his Take Me To Church EP, the folk performer just dropped his self-titled LP Hozier, and graced the Saturday Night Live stage with host Bill Hader this past weekend.
Taylor Swift is ready to follow up her single "Shake It Off" from her upcoming LP 1989 with a new track, according to her Instagram. She posted an artistic shot of a nature path, captioned 5 days #1989, and with the key word "Woods" in the shot, fans have clued in that she's probably talking about the song she revealed in her recent Rolling Stone interview, "Out Of The Woods."
Meghan Trainor may not be a household name, but expect to be talking about the budding singer/songwriter more often as her star power rises thanks to the success of "All About That Bass." The song — which promotes being proud of your body, no matter what size — has been climbing the Billboard Hot 100 chart for weeks now, and finally, it's hit the no.1 spot. And that's not all: the Hot 100's top 5 is all ladies, which is definitely an awesome case of girl power!
Have just dropped her album of jazz classics with legendary singer Tony Bennett, entitled Cheek To Cheek, Lady Gaga has a lot to celebrate. Not only did she just get a tattoo of a monster claw to represent her relationship with her fans, the Little Monsters — she also partook in the Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) series. And Mother Monster got personal!
LA-based producer Flying Lotus has remained relatively under-the-radar with his blend of hip-hop, electronic, and jazz music. However, with his new album You're Dead! due out October 7th, he's gaining more and more popularity. Oh yeah, and it might have to do with the fact that Kendrick Lamar is featured on his first single from the record, "Never Catch Me." The song's music video just dropped, and it's getting even more viral by the second.
He's one of the busiest men in country music: with his hosting duties on The Voice as well as the ACM Awards, on top of being married to fellow singer Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton's always on the go. However, he found the time to record the follow-up album to 2011's Based On A True Story... with his new LP Bringing Back The Sunshine, which was just released on September 30th.
Britney Spears has had one heck of a year. The famous pop star has not only managed to have a wildly successful stint in Las Vegas, she's also launched a line of intimate apparel for women, and is currently promoting it in Europe. Talk about getting "work" done, BritBrit! While in London, Britney sat down with On Demand Entertainment and didn't hold back about new details surrounding her follow-up to last years' Britney Jean.
We still don't know what Hilary Duff's upcoming album via RCA Records is titled, but that's not stopping the actress-turned-singer from releasing her new single "All About You." In the song's music video, we see Hilary going through a love-at-first-sight moment with a guy she spots at a coffee shop: and the hunt is on!
With a sophomore album on the way (that's yet to be titled,) Kendrick Lamar sent out the record's first single, "i," to positive reviews across the board. Well, maybe a couple listeners were taken aback: the song samples The Isley Brothers' funky guitar in "That Lady," which gives the track a surprisingly uplifting mood. Debuted on Soundcloud on September 23rd, "i" is just a taste of what's to come from Lamar's second record.
