I record a lot of original music and have over 200 tracks at iTunes :) As for these current recordings, I generally apply what I term the "luna muse" principle a.k.a. crazy inspiration. I used to be pretty uptight about my recordings and was a relentless perfectionist in the studio - particularly when I was with Phantom's Opera, but then.. well long story short.. I tripped out at a Grateful Dead show and had my whole perspective augmented by an incredibly profound experience. Soon thereafter I started doing a lot of improvisational based recording where capturing the initial vibe, artistic authenticity and feel took a higher precedence over technical perfection. As a consequence, my recordings tend to have a rich organic and deeply personal sound.. If you like what you hear, please consider buying a few of my tunes. Its a scary time to be in the music business. I've spent my whole career as a working musician, recording artist or music business professional and although I do applaud the changes that have occurred via affordable recording technology and digital distribution, I need to earn a living too!
