Everyone now and then, we find an artist in our catalog we really love but can’t tell you much about. Such is the case with Torin Brown.
The most we can tell you is that Torin Brown is an unsigned singer and songwriter from the UK who classifies himself as an Acoustic/Americana/Rock artist. It appears he’s released maybe a half dozen singles over the past few years, including the lone cut we found in our library called “When The Night Falls Down.”
And what a cut it is: the jangling essence of Big Star, the pining vocals of Tom Petty, the reverberating harmonies of the Volebeats, the melodic sensibilities of Jules Shear, all wrapped up in a song that any star Americana singer would love to have in his repertoire.
If you’re anywhere to be found, Torin, drop us a line and, please, tell us there’s more where that came from.
