When the Plain White T’s struck it big with their 2006 hit “Hey There Delilah,” it was both good and disruptive for the group. The song hit #1 on the charts of four countries, but, as an acoustic ballad, it was different from their usual style.

Fortunately, the Plain White T’s have been able to handle their success with confidence and have returned with a solid follow up in Wonders Of The Younger, featuring the single “Boomerang.”

Blues disciples George Thorogood & the Destroyers have always been carrying the torch for the classic Chicago sound. But on their latest record 2120 South Michigan Ave. they take things a step further, paying direct homage to legendary blues label Chess Records by covering some Chess classics and even referencing the address of label’s recording studio in the album title.
