Originator of the genre called “nerdcore” and the self-proclaimed “world’s 579th greatest rapper,” Damian Hess (a.k.a. MC Frontalot) makes it funny with our Free MP3 of the Day, “The Penny Arcade Theme.”
When the popular webcomic Penny Arcade declared his their “official rapper poet laureate” in 2002, the disturbingly strange looking Frontalot memorialized the honor with the goofy rhyme of “The Penny Arcade Theme.”
Frontalot’s since appeared at numerous Arcade Expos and has his music featured in the dance game The Groove and as well as on Rock Band. His catalog consists of five album ranging from his mid-00s debut, Nerdcore Rising, to his 2011 release called Solved.
