The “Whine Up” hitmaker has re-emerged with a new urban anthem featuring Fatman Scoop. Sounding like a mash-up of Shakira and Pitbull, Kat Deluna sings with depth and sass, and also tells us how exactly to “Drop It Low.”
Since the 2007 release of the Latin-flavored, gold-certified single “Whine Up,” featuring Jamaican reggae star Elephant Man, the Dominican diva has released new music including a few hot singles (“Run the Show” featuring Busta Rhymes, “Party O’Clock” and “Dancing Tonight”) as well as a few awards including one for Latin Dance Club Play Track Of The Year at the 2008 Latin Billboard Music Awards. And it’s like not she stopped there.
With overflowing energy, catchy dance-floor Latin beats, and super tight performances, the 23–year-old singer recently released the video to the catchy club-banger “Drop It Low” and is also getting ready to unleash a revised version of her second LP Inside Out–now called Viva–which will see a US release date later this year.
