The last couple of months have seen plenty of action from the G-Side camp, tunes flying in like hawks on the hunt, remixes landing like Concordes, collaborations coming together like girls and boys in the springtime and a new album this month called iSLAND.
If you’re not hip to G-Side, get up to date. Straight from a Boys & Girls Club friendship forged back in the 90′s, G-Side are Stephen “ST 2 Lettaz” Harris and Yung “David Williams” Clova.
In the words of the G-siders, who give influence shoutouts to Outkast, Geto Boys and Master P, “G-Side’s production team Block Beataz (Mike Posner, Freddie Gibbs & Yelawolf) create a perfect sound for ST & Clova to boast over, with blistering drums, woozy ethereal soundscapes, and scorching horns.”
