Producers Phingaz and Egypto Knuckles and MC’s ToneKrusher Smith, T.Q.D, Analyrical and Status Reign are the diverse crew of cats who make up Background Noise Crew. Hailing from points east, west and south and based in MPLS, BNC have been dropping tracks individually and as a collective since the mid-00s.
With an eye toward freshness and a respect for the classics, they’re dropping stuff like this one called “Planetary Mission.” We love the old school so anytime a crew can combine lyrics that remind us of P-Funk with beats and sounds that honor Gamble and Huff, we’re gonna give it a spin.
