Amber Bullock, winner of Season 4 of BET’s gospel singing competition Sunday Best, is set to release her first EP Thank You. On new songs like “Thank You Lord” she blends her power gospel singing style with funky jazz and neo-soul instrumental tracks.
This past year Bullock captured the hearts of millions on the #1 rated weekly gospel music competition show, Sunday Best. Over 2 million viewers tuned in to watch the Sunday Best finale. Season 4 ranks as the #1 telecast in BET franchise history and the #1 cable competition show.
Bullock’s story is one of triumph in the face of adversity. A single mother of two, she had undergone a series of setbacks that saw her moving in with her mother. On a whim, she decided to attend the final day of auditions for Sunday Best and the rest is history.
