Forming in the summer of 2009, Guardians is a six piece progressively influenced band who began as a side project, but grew into something much more. Having a strong passion and respect for making music, while being driven by technical and atmospheric influences, they come closer to accomplishing their goal of being a successful group, that is noticeably different from other bands alike in their genre.

A long thought process led Guardians to record their debut E.P. entitled "Words of War," at a professional level. Sumerian Record's own Born of Osiris helped them to achieve this milestone in forwarding the bands progress even further.

"As much as we want to pursue our careers in music, we would be nothing without our mentality that we are just a group of friends that love to write, perform, or just jam music. So don't be afraid to come say hello at a show, tell us what you think, or even just come and hang out. We love all the feedback and support you can give."
