Warlord Nygård is the stage name of Mathias Nygård, the lead singer and co-founder of the Finnish metal band Turisas. He appeared under this name on Metal Hammer magazine's Battle Metal CD of 2008, on which he gave a spoken introduction and outro for the compilation record containing music by 14 different artists. He has been with Turisas since its formation in 1997, but also played keyboards for a short time in another Finnish metal band named Cadacross.
