Veell is Artyom Romanenko, who uses breakbeat and simple melodies to create his at times not very simple music. He is well-known for his complex sound-textures combined with synthetic drums, trip-hop themes and glitched instruments.
His first album was released in 2005 at the biggest russian underground label SHUM, which started in 2003 to release quality electronic music in Russia and Europe. Later Veell's tracks were used in many compilations of this label.
In the end of 2007 he has started his work with vocal project called Iky Que.
Also from 2007 he trying to distribute his music by himself over the Internet.
After the dismissing of Iky Que he focused on his own music again. In the spring of 2010 he released his second album called Birdsland.
And one year later - Dreamorphine - third album, which was a big step forward to the 'hardware music' from the 'computer music'.
Now he plays lives with and without live-band and working hard with the new vocal project called Ealy.
