Uncle Joe’s Medicine Show hails from upstate NY’s legendary funk rock and jam scene and the band formed in late 2001 in Fredonia NY while attending college. Uncle Joe’s relocated to Atlanta Georgia at the end of 2005, ready to bring a new sound full of energy and groove to the South. With a sound that fuses vintage funk sounds with a soul lyricism, the band evokes the days of when groove and feel were first and foremost.
