Tripsitter is a band formed in 2003 by five guys based on the West Coast. They released their first album, a self-titled EP, in 2003. It was followed by the album California Son in 2005. Currently two additional cover songs, "Staring at the Sun" and "Wah-Wah," have been released. Their next album is planned for mid-2007.

Their sound and particularly their harmonies are heavily influenced by Brian Wilson, one of their heroes. Their sound in general has also been compared to the Beatles, Queen, and Ben Folds Five.
