Tony Webb was born in Swansea, Wales in 1956 to a working class family. His influences include Bob Dylan, The Byrds, etc. He is a member of "Sparrow Lane", a band who have been playing many of Tony's originals and for years in Swansea's local music scene. Musical interests include Bob Dylan and The Byrds, Bert Jansch, David Ackles, Plainsong, David Blue, Mimi and Richard Farina, Pentangle, Ronnee Blakley, Starry Eyed And Laughing, Jackson C Frank and the like.
