Titee on the history of Titee & Pixieguts...
"It is indeed a great privilege to do music with the famous Pixieguts. It all began with the tune 'Long River'. This vocal was sung through a cheap mic through a sound setup on a PC which I can now say was either genius or fluke ( Is there a difference ? ). The mic had a stocking rapped around it to give the hollywood sound - the stocking over the lens trick to bring about youthful looks. The vocal itself was quite a bit longer than you can hear on the track. I did actually make a tune from this vocal but then Pixieguts took the track and tweaked it with her vocal editing skills and presented me with the new vocal. I then made a few different mixes and ended up with 'Long River'. A short time after release Adrian Carter made a remix of it, so then, Titee made another remix of it and the track ended up quite a treat and is still being downd and listened too by music appreciators all over the world. There was also another remix of this track by Adrian Carter called 'Black River'.
Some of the tracks were never meant to be made. It was a strange twist of fate that Titee was sent some samples that were not intended for him. This was due to the account of a file send software sending him an email of a group of samples. He was not sure about using these but Pixieguts said "Go for It" so Titee did and the tracks 'Brothers and Sisters', 'Trumpet Flowers' and 'Silence to Sunrise' were born.
The tune 'Droma' was intended to be Drama, but Titee typed by accident Droma and the track has remained unchanged to this day. A remix of this track was done and its a little harder, 'Droma Core'.
'Duck Mix' was created by the sound of this toy duck Pixieguts got off her friend. Quack quack, this was echoed out in an Audio Editor. Who says a ducks voice never echoes?
'I Love Mondays' is about the rebellion Titee has about Mondayitis. Monday is the freshest day of the week. Titee is not really into weeks and believes every day should have its own name. This encouraged 'Year of the Future' to be made, a time when humans are not so concerned with time. 'Get Nude' was a track in honour of JW. She says it all the time. 'Spanish' is Titee's way of attempting world music with a flavour of Spain. 'Am I Dreaming' was designed to be a Lucid Dreaming aid. If you listen to this track enough you will have lucid dreams.
'Titee's Remixx of Exile By Crimson Death' was a track done as a remix of Crimson Death's tune 'Exile'. This track was an attempt to put some death sounds into a dance track and to make it funny as well as serious. This track features Pixieguts, Crimson Death and Titee. The original sounds were done by Crimson Death, Pixieguts added some vocals and Titee remixxt it to a new level of DeathDance never heard before. I remember when BO, the new pres of the Youessoveh rang me to say he'd just become the pres and he told me, now I am the leader all I want to do is listen to the Remix of Exile By Crimson Death - Titee & Pixieguts. He got me to quickly send him an mp3 of it and he said, "Thank the people who gave me this everlasting drink of political fertility." Its a must listen and make sure you get a copy for your Grandmother.
'Give Way' was a tune Titee and Pixieguts did when Titee had a job at "The Interational Road Building Association of the World". It seemed apt to say in the least that this tune is indeed apt because the offices from which they operated were rabbit warrenic and to Give Way at this workplace was a matter of life and death. Titee really liked this job but they sacked him a week later. Ever since then their world has been lost and the streets have no names anymore.
'Renovartion' is about those renovators who give you hell to make there unit beautiful. Jack Hammers first thing in the morning every day for 9 months gestates monsters beyond the normal control of human behaviour. It was indeed a noisy time however the tune itself does not fully reflect this frightful journey.
'The End Of The Internet' is about when your PC don't work, or there's a mighty storm and you need to boot in order to save the pc from Lightning Spike. Its also about The End of the Internet.
The latest album was a culmination of all the other Titee & Pixieguts tracks that were not posted at lastfm."
