Thursday Group is an original jazz-fusion quartet lead by New York guitarist Douglas Lichterman, and featuring Clayton Englar on saxes & flute, Jim Kerwin on bass, Vinnie Johnson on drums and Tony Manno on drums. They performed regularly at several venues in the San Francisco Bay Area during the late 70's, including the legendary Keystone Korner, until 1980 when the group relocated to the East Coast. After recruiting a new rhythm section, they began performing again in New York City.
