Big John and Scotty formed the Saddle Tramps in 1999. They started out as a comedy duo playing

in places like The Improve doing shortened versions of some of their original songs and interjecting

with standup improv comedy. The band then got it’s first gigs as a band and added a drummer and

eventually by 2000 the gun-slinging go-go dancer Suzy Switchblade.

From day one The Saddle Tramps played relentlessly in and around Reno as well as on the road to

support their first 3 CDs. Their rigorous show schedule and work ethic got them signed to L.A. based
