There are multiple groups which have existed under the name of The Royales. The original Royales were an r&b group in the 1950s (formerly gospel, known as The Royal Sons Quintet). They released the single Too Much Of A Little Bit on the Apollo label and then changed their name to The "5" Royales. There is also a modern group using the name of The Royales: Emerging from the mysterious grotto that is Kilian’s basement, The Royales (comprised of Kilian, Simon and Rupert), have begun to make their meandering journey across the epic canvas that is music.
