Recording their debut EP in 2006 at empresAudio, pBp missed no opportunity to bring their act to stages on the local and regional level, putting on high-energy shows at venerable clubs around the midwest. Two self-released singles, “Procrastination Way” and “Cracked the Code,” earned the Polar Bear Project their reputation as “dreamy, Death Cab for Cutie-esque rockers”(Annie Zaleski, music ed. - RFT), and provided some momentum for the band.
