Biography
The Crushers are a garage band from Moscow, Russia. Their music inspired by 60's garage and freakbeat scene with its acts such as The Music Machine,The Troggs and The Seeds.
Read More...The Crushers formed in mid 90's as three piece (vocalist and guitarist Pavel Petrov, Oleg Peskov on drums and Elias Sterzhanov on bass) , but after bassist left reformed with 2 new members - Pavel Prianichkov (keyboards) and Vadim Markov (drums), both ex-members of russian band The Mods. Later Alexei Cherniaev was added as a second guitarist.
The band released two studio albums: "The Crushers" and "Glory Of The Day". Crushers were called "The best russian garage band" by the leader of the US band "Creatures Of Golden Dawn" Mark Smith. Also Smith presented them one of his songs.
