In 2002, Ario Hendarwan (lead vocals/guitar), Bawono "Beni" Adhiantoro (drums), Martino "Tino" Runtukahu (guitar) and Setyo Dwiharso (bass) - all students at Institut Kesenian Jakarta - started jamming and came up with original songs that combined crunching garage rock distortion with breathtaking vocal harmonies. Tyo came up with the band name from "Adam and Eve," due to all band members being of the male persuasion.
