1.Streetwalkers is the band formed by singer Roger Chapman and guitarist Charlie Whitney after dissolving the quirky and highly original British rock outfit Family. Their first album was released in May 1974 (Streetwalkers), followed by Downtown Flyers (Oct 1975), Red Card (May 1976), and Vicious But Fair (Jan 1977). Their music was an extraordinarily atmospheric mix of heavy R&B and funk, topped by the unique sandpaper voice of Chapman.
