"Rough, melodic rock from Seinäjoki, Finland"

Since 1997, Smokesuit has patiently been refining their sound of rough and melodic rock music. Imagine the Wildhearts teaming up with members of Faith No More and writing music in tribute to Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden and the Beatles and you might end up with something that is Smokesuit. Their music doesn't fit any specific sub-genre but that is not an issue for the boys. They simply aim at making great music that moves people both emotionally and physically. The latter has been encouraged during their energetic live shows that they have been playing at an increasing amount and the appreciating crowds have grown bigger and bigger. With the release of their debut album 'Through The Void' in May 2008 they established themselves as one of the most exciting acts in Finland to be on the lookout for. Smokesuit is a group that has taken its time to evolve and develop and is not showing any signs of stopping this progress. At the moment Smokesuit is in the process of writing and pre-producing material for their second album.
