RED STONER SUN was formed in september 1998. We just recorded a jam-session on a 8-track recorder, added some guitars and vocals. And on the next day we`ve had a 11 Track promo CD called :smoke.76…the livesession. Two month later we did it like that again and got another promo tape. The 4 song Cassette Milwaukee Sonic Girls. Those two promos were released on our first gig in february 1999 at the niagara in berlin-kreuzberg. In April we recorded another 11 Track CD named Bonanzas Rock with written and structured Songs and in June we did the Planetary Orbiter Session. With our experimental effect and sound adventures we creatured never heard things for us definitly a milestone in the growing of RED STONER SUN. At our last concert in1999 we released a limitied edition CD for a few friends called El Paso Vol. I with new recordings of our live hits and some special jams.

In 2000 we giged wherever we can. We supported Danko Jones, Madrugada and Zen Guerilla, and played with some berlin rock-homies like Rotor, Mamasweed, Ojo Rojo, SOG!, Nada Brama as well. After a successful year we released our first studio production in december called El Paso Vol.II. It contains 7 tracks @ 47 minutes. Then Dr Till Beat joined the Band to do some samples and play a spacy psychedelic analog korg. In march 2002 we`ve had enough and flew back to our home planet somewhere over the rainbow…

…and now, 7 years after our latest release and 4 years after jamming as RED STONER SUN we checked in at a recording studio to do some desert-space-rock sessions again. And what came out was a psychedelic flight back to the 60s and 70s music. It`s going to be released somewhere in 2007. Echo Return will contain about 10 Tracks with a playing time of over a hour.
