Red Organ Serpent Sound formed in 2004 in the City of derry, northern ireland. The band's sound can be described as an electric circus of sleaze style groove and intergalactic country punk.

They soon built up a loyal following with their raw and unhinged live shows, and released their debut single In Search of Orgasmuz on the legendary Vertigo label in September 2005. Soon after signing to Vertigo the band were short-listed for the best Irish newcomers in the 2005 Irish Meteor Awards. In 2006 they recorded their debut album with Supergrass producer Sam Williams, the album is set to be released in the near future.
