Rebel Hearts was founded by singer/songwriter/producer Don McDowell. McDowell is a geologist and surveyor by trade--and owns his own precious metal exploration company. He spends much of his time searching for precious metals in Nevada and other areas. He started Rebel Hearts several years ago and has added a few other singers to the group since then. McDowell sings on some of the group's songs and is involved with the writing of most of the songs Rebel Hearts records. He travels to Nashville every several weeks and works with some seasoned professional writers.
