Re:\Legion is a band with elements from Futurepop, EBM, Trance and sometimes also Harsh Electro.

Oliver Schmitz and Martin Cremers (Re:\Legion), the two creative heads, consistently hit the mark with tracks of pulsing beats and exciting but catchy and straightforward melodies. Applying such a work ethic and close attention to the structure and singularity of the compositions, every track is imbued with its own character.

Outside musical influences of course can be noticed but re-legion strives to stay original, and to this end brings several musical styles into play as it carves out its own niche. Some demo and promotional releases, including numerous sampler contributions, have served to seize the day for re-legion with both national and international successes. Clubhits like “re:start” and “nachthexen” alongside skilled remix work for famous bands have also factored in to a steady increase in listener demand for an official debut album.

Against this backdrop, the CD “13 seconds” emerges, mastered by echorausch, and offers up 13 stalwart tracks that truly reflect the musical complexity of re-legion.

The sound of cold and dark yet melodic electro tracks guarantees a pounding club atmosphere and packed dance floors. A few more atmospheric tracks balance things out and offer listeners a chance to cool down and relax …but never for long!
