As a musician Raleigh has been creating his own style of dirty electronic shoegaze since 2007. His first two albums were released on the This Plague of Dreaming netlabel under the name Goghst. Since 2009 Raleigh has independently released 4 LPs and 3 EPs under his own name on his blog.
His influences range from My Bloody Valentine to Nine Inch Nails, hip hop to rock, radio static to television garbage, life to death, just about everything influences Raleigh's music.
You can currently find R. A. Blum's music for free at his blog starryeyednight.tumblr.com
