Powers is a band from Chicago, IL formed in early 2008. The lineup features members of such well-known Chicago bands Shotgun for Royalty, Karma with a K, Quatre Tete and Grinner. Powers plays a mathy, heavy mix of post-punk, stoner-metal, dance punk, noise rock and garage. Members include B. Frederick Locher (Shotgun for Royalty) on guitar/vocals, P. Christian Dawson (Shotgun for Royalty, Quatre Tete) on percussion, and Cully Johnston (ex-Grinner) on guitar/percussion. Former members include Kyle Victor White (ex-Karma With a K).
